Margo Hunter-Jefferson

Margo Hunter (Jefferson} was born on September 11, 1945, in Stockton California to Lizzie Ruth Daniels and Thomas Hunter; She was the only child to this relationship but the eldest of Ruth’s children of four and the eldest of Thomas children of 3. Margo attended elementary and secondary school in Stockton CA, and high school in Dallas Texas. She obtained her associate’s in arts in liberal arts/ sociology in February 1980. She met William Cleo Jones whom she married on June 6, 1959, and had two children Joyce and Kenneth Jones from this union. Margo latter after the passing of her first husband met L.E Turknett and had four children Lachelle, Bessie, LE (Jr), and Everett Jones from this relationship. Margo left Dallas Texas in 1970 and moved to Lancaster California where she met her soulmate and last husband Henry (Boss Hog) Jefferson. They were married on June 12, 1970, and there were no children born from this union. Margo started her career as a bank manager for Crocker Bank in Sherman Oaks CA and stayed after Crocker merged with Wells Fargo Bank. She left the bank industry to pursue a career with Los Angeles County Department as a Social Worker in Lancaster CA, 1986 to 1989 then she returned to Wells Fargo Bank where she retired after 27 years of service June 2012. Margo had a big heart if she had it you had it, if she didn’t have it you can best believe she would find a solution into getting it for you. She was dependable to not only family and friends but anyone in need. She belonged to Calvery Baptist Church in Pacoima CA. She had accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in early childhood long before attending Calvery and renewed her faith constantly.
