Juan Barragan was born on August 12, 1972, fell asleep in death on May 2, 2025… son of Jose and Francisca Barragan. The youngest of seven children, Juan shared a special bond with his family—especially his mother, who often lovingly called him "hijo de mi corazón."
He was baptized on August 16, 1996, and later married the love of his life, Linda, on September 1, 2012. Juan deeply loved his wife, his family, and his cats—but above all, he loved Jehovah. His faith was the foundation of his life and evident in everything he did. Even in his most difficult moments, he found strength in Jehovah and encouraged others by sharing how well he was cared for spiritually and emotionally.
Juan’s brother Luis described him not only as his “little brother,” but also as his best friend. “Juan was a God-fearing man,” he said. “A man of integrity with a heart of gold, who always tried to do what was right. He truly cared for everyone.” Juan cared for their father during his illness until his final day and continued to support Luis with the same dedication. His love extended to all around him—his nieces and nephews, whom he treated like his own, and anyone who needed a helping hand. When Juan said he had your back, he meant it—and he showed it.
His sister Lupe lovingly remembered him as “the sweetest baby brother anyone could ever have.” Juan had a way of lifting spirits, bringing light into dark moments, and staying positive when it seemed impossible. Generous with his love and kindness, Juan was truly one of a kind. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of faith, love, and compassion lives on in all who knew him.
